PETALING JAYA: Ng Suee Lim, a member of the Pakatan Harapan party, expressed his satisfaction in being able to withstand the “green wave” in the Sekinchan constituency in Selangor, Malaysia. He secured victory with a majority of 4,018 votes against his opponent, Goh Gaik Meng from the Perikatan Nasional party.
Despite having served four consecutive terms, Ng acknowledged that both Malay and non-Malay voters continued to place their trust in him.
Following his arrival at the Wyndham Acmar Hotel, where Pakatan candidates and supporters had gathered for the election announcement on Saturday (Aug 12) night, an ecstatic Ng engaged in a virtual interview.
