(Reuters) – Hollywood actors who are on strike have announced that they have received a proposal from the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP).
The actors’ union, SAG-AFTRA, stated that the AMPTP, which represents influential companies like Netflix and Walt Disney, has presented them with what the AMPTP calls their “last, best, and final offer.”
Currently, the actors’ union is in the process of evaluating the offer and weighing their potential response.
Since July, members of SAG-AFTRA, which stands for Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, consisting of approximately 160,000 actors and other professionals in the entertainment industry, have been engaged in a strike.
