His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, has arrived at the Royal Hangar at Senai International Airport in Kulai.
As the Royal entourage arrived at the last checkpoint in front of the Senai International Airport Mosque at 8.30am on Wednesday (Jan 31), they were greeted by loud cheers of “Daulat Tuanku” from the assembled crowd.
More than 2,000 people had gathered to send off Sultan Ibrahim as he embarks on his journey to begin his reign as the 17th Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
Representatives from government agencies and local NGOs around Kulai were also present at the gathering.
Sultan Ibrahim is expected to depart to Kuala Lumpur at 9am using his private plane, and will be accompanied by Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin and Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi.
