Sarawak’s civil servants will receive a two-month bonus before the end of the year, according to Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg. The bonus will benefit around 28,000 state civil servants, including employees of state statutory bodies and local authorities. In his winding-up speech at the Sarawak Legislative Assembly on Wednesday (Nov 29), Abang Johari expressed his gratitude to the state civil servants and acknowledged their contribution to the people’s wellbeing.
