Gyroglove works to help those with hand tremors
Roberta Wilson-Garrett, diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease six years ago, found it difficult to manage her tremors. GyroGear, a Boston-based medical tech startup, introduced a hand-stabilising glove at CES 2024 to help people like Wilson-Garrett regain control of their lives.
The GyroGlove is now available for US$5,899 (RM27,383).
Advancing AI with fortune telling
SK Group showcased an AI Fortune Teller at CES 2024, powered by high-bandwidth memory technology that claims to predict users’ fortunes by reading their emotions. This is to exhibit SK’s latest tech and sustainability advances at the Las Vegas show.
Hyundai’s new flying taxi concept lands at CES
The S-A2, a new flying taxi concept by Hyundai, debuted at CES 2024. The vehicle is envisioned as a commuter solution for urban areas with heavy traffic, and Hyundai claims it can cruise at 120 mph at a 1,500-foot altitude while operating quietly.
