There will be a closure of a section of the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway flyover from 8am to 1pm on Saturday (Sept 9) for the purpose of upgrading works, according to reports in George Town.
The affected flyover is located near Keysight Technologies Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Motorola Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
In order to mitigate any inconvenience caused to the public, the Penang Island City Council has advised those planning to use the expressway during this period to take the alternative route beneath the flyover.
Hospital Penang has also made an announcement of the temporary closure of the entrance to its Emergency and Trauma Department from Saturday until September 24, due to upgrading works.
An alternative route through Gate 1 near the hospital surau has been made available, with a temporary drop zone and registration counter set up near the Block A lobby for the convenience of the public.
