PETALING JAYA: Telekom Malaysia (TM) has announced that a submarine cable fault may be affecting some users’ Internet experience on Unifi.
“We are currently experiencing a submarine cable fault, which may impact your Internet usage and browsing experience. Our team is actively working to address the situation and optimise your connection during this period,” it said in a #UnifiAlerts posted today (Sept 20).
The company added that repairs are underway along with other measures to minimise disruption.
“Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this issue. We will provide updates as progress is made.”
Based on feedback that TM’s Unifi account has received on X (formerly Twitter), users like @imanhhamzah said their Internet experience has “been really slow” in the past couple of days while @NFaRhNnis claimed that there has not been any Internet connection in their home for 12 days.
Users can check the Unifi Easyfix portal to find out if their area is affected by a service outage.
