PETALING JAYA: The Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) station experienced its highest number of public transport users on New Year’s Eve, with over 51,161 Rapid Rail system users recorded on Dec 31, 2023.
Information from data.gov.my showed that the station’s previous peak was on Christmas Eve on Dec 24, with 42,293 users.
On the same day, the Bukit Bintang station adjacent to TRX saw 50,556 users, followed by KLCC at 43,276 and KL Sentral at 18,343.
For the entire month of December, the TRX station recorded its highest number of users for the year at 831,183, behind Bukit Bintang at 900,651 and outperforming KLCC at 725,184 and KL Sentral at 592,509.
