A 17-year-old tourist from England was safely brought down from Mount Kinabalu due to suspected hypothermia and acute mountain sickness.
The girl was taken to Ranau Hospital where her condition was stable.
The mountain search and rescue team (Mosar) was called to assist in bringing down the teenage girl from Panarlaban sick bay.
She was stretchered down part of the way before being piggybacked to Timpohon Gate and taken to the hospital.
The three men Mosar team received assistance from three mountain guides and five Kinabalu Park search and rescue rangers.
The girl received initial treatment from Kinabalu Park rangers and guides, including oxygen and being wrapped in an emergency blanket to warm up.
The rescue operations concluded on Sunday (July 16) at 7.45pm.
