According to a U.S. defense official speaking to Reuters, the United States has conducted two air strikes in Syria against groups aligned with Iran. These strikes are believed to be the latest response to a series of attacks on American forces in both Syria and Iraq.
The source, who requested anonymity, stated that one of the targets was a facility for storing weapons, while the other was identified as a “command and control” facility, indicating it may have been a headquarters or another type of staffed structure.
The official informed that the strikes occurred within the past few hours and that the U.S. is currently conducting a review to determine whether any members of the Iran-aligned militia were killed or injured in the attacks.
