Former Community Communications Department (J-Kom) director-general Datuk Dr Mohammad Agus Yusoff has come forward to deny his involvement in a viral video, claiming that there is a conspiracy to undermine his career and reputation. The video in question allegedly shows Mohammad Agus engaging in an indecent conversation with another man named “Wahab”.
In a press conference on Friday (Nov 17) night, Mohammad Agus firmly refuted his participation in the video, asserting that it has been manipulated to incriminate him. Also present at the press conference was Abdul Wahab Abdul Kadir Jilani, who is identified as the individual in the video. Abdul Wahab claimed that the video was orchestrated by a person known as “Mr H” in an effort to damage Mohammad Agus’ career. Wahab further asserted that Mr H, who is an official within J-Kom, coerced him into producing the video.
Mohammad Agus stated, “I deny (it was me in) the video. That the video has been doctored to frame me.” He firmly believes that the video is part of a plot to defame him and destroy his career and reputation. Abdul Wahab echoed Mohammad Agus’ sentiments, stating that he was manipulated into participating in the video by Mr H, who holds a position within J-Kom.
The emergence of the viral video has sparked controversy and allegations of conspiracy. Mohammad Agus has boldly taken a stand against the alleged manipulation of the video and expressed concern about the impact it could have on his professional and personal standing. Abdul Wahab has also addressed the matter, claiming that he was deceived and coerced into participating in the video.
