PETALING JAYA: A man allegedly flashed an object believed to be a pistol after being told off for smoking at a food court.
A video of the incident has since gone viral.
The 26-second video showed two men arguing at a food court in Puchong while a woman attempted to cool down the situation.
The video also captured the woman pulling one of the men, who was clad in a white round-neck T-shirt.
Another video showed a different angle of the same man lifting his arms to show an object resembling a pistol.
A message along with the video was circulated on Telegram, claiming the incident occurred several days ago and the man got into an argument with the foodcourt manager after he was told not to smoke at the premises.
The message also claimed that the man showed his pistol and pointed it at the manager’s stomach.
When contacted, Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said no report has been made on the incident.
“We urge those who witnessed the alleged confrontation to come forward as soon as possible.
“Those with information can contact the Selangor police hotline at 03-20529999 or go to the nearest police station,” he said.
