The training division director of the Community Communications Department (J-Kom), Muhamad Hakim Ramlee, has denied allegations that he is ‘Mr H,’ the figure behind a video that implicates the department’s former director-general, Datuk Dr Mohammad Agus Yusoff.
Muhamad Hakim has strongly refuted claims made by blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin that he is the person known as ‘Mr H.’ He was quoted by a Malay daily as saying, “I have been advised not to comment further on this. However, I deny the claims. What does this situation have to do with me?”
Additionally, Muhamad Hakim has stated that he is still a member of PKR.
Raja Petra had accused Muhamad Hakim of being responsible for the viral video showcasing a conversation between Mohammad Agus and J-Kom assistant officer Abdul Wahab Abdul Kadir Jilani.
During a joint press conference, Abdul Wahab claimed that he had been instructed by a superior referred to as ‘Mr. H’ to record a video call between himself and Mohammad Agus.
However, Abdul Wahab also admitted that the audio heard in the video had been added as the original was recorded without sound.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Agus has denied the authenticity of the video, alleging that it had been altered in an attempt to tarnish his reputation.
