A woman in Texas who called 911 reported that she saw someone entering her home on camera with stolen keys. She then informed the dispatchers that she was attempting to prevent the suspect from leaving the area. During the call, the 41-year-old woman accidentally hit the man with her car at a nearby intersection in San Antonio. The incident occurred at around 6:30 am on Tuesday, August 29, and police officers were alerted to the scene.
According to a news release by the San Antonio Police Department, responding officers discovered the 27-year-old man in the street with a leg injury. The man was subsequently taken to a hospital for medical treatment while the woman was detained for questioning. Authorities later arrested her and charged her with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Upon his discharge from the hospital, the man will be arrested for two existing felony warrants and will also be considered as a burglary suspect, police stated. The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
