Authorities in Seremban have discovered the bodies of a woman and her two young children at a residence in Lenggeng. Nilai police chief Supt Abdul Malik Hasim revealed that the 34-year-old woman and her daughters, aged between three and six, were found hanged. A note believed to have been written by the woman expressing her intention to commit suicide due to marital issues was also found, according to Supt Abdul Malik.
The woman’s husband, who is in his 30s and works as a technician, was apprehended around 1am on Tuesday (Feb 20) and is being held in custody until Feb 23. The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder. The remains of the deceased have been sent to the Tuanku Jaáfar Hospital for postmortem examination, Supt Abdul Malik added.
