The daughter of Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Datuk Nurulhidayah Ahmad Zahid, has provided an update on her father’s health, saying that he is recovering well from surgery.
According to her, the surgery was meant to have taken place earlier, but had been delayed due to the Deputy Prime Minister’s busy schedule.
“My father is doing well after undergoing surgery on Thursday (Nov 16), despite it being postponed due to his hectic schedule. My dad is someone who always prioritizes others,” she stated in an Instagram post on Sunday (Nov 19).

In order to aid her father’s recovery, Nurulhidayah stated that her family has been spending time with him. She emphasized the importance of her father adopting a healthy lifestyle, including healthy eating, staying active, and getting enough rest.
She also urged people to refrain from spreading unverified information.
