In Kuala Lumpur, the development of more than 10,000 units of Residensi Madani and Residensi Wilayah is set to begin this year, with completion expected by 2027. Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories), Dr Zaliha Mustafa, highlighted that these residences will cater to individuals with low to medium incomes who are looking to own affordable homes priced below RM300,000.
The initiative forms part of the Usaha Jaya Insan Program (Puji) cluster, specifically the Lindung @ Puji project, geared towards enhancing the living standards of the populace. The project will unfold across various precincts in Putrajaya, with a targeted total of over 10,000 units slated for construction commencement in 2024.
Dr Zaliha emphasized the significance of such developments following a discussion on related matters and the readiness of developers to kickstart the Residensi Madani and Residensi Wilayah housing projects in Putrajaya, as reported by Bernama.
Puji stands out as a pivotal strategy in uplifting the people living in the Federal Territories, designed as an encompassing approach to addressing socio-economic challenges within Kuala Lumpur, Labuan, and Putrajaya.
