PUTRAJAYA: Around 102 government services will be available in one location during the Madani Government One Year Anniversary programme at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium grounds from Dec 8 to 10. This is being done with the aim of better informing the public about government policies, according to Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali (pic).
Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali highlighted that the programme is focused on direct communication and dissemination of government policies, excluding any entertainment or celebratory aspects. The event is designed to provide a variety of services to over 200,000 visitors expected to attend over three days. This includes career opportunities and service counters operated by ministries and government agencies.
“There will be diverse services available, including job interviews arranged by the Human Resources Ministry there,” he said.
Counters for the registration of Rahmah Cash Contributions under the Finance Ministry and application for Unclaimed Money under the Accountant-General’s Department will be provided. The Communications and Digital Ministry will offer various online services, data recovery assistance, and consultations on personal data protection, scams, and entrepreneurship. Mobile services will also be available for traffic summons payment, and to report on unfair trade practices.
Traffic congestion is anticipated on Dec 8 due to the 2023 Malaysia Cup final match between Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) and Terengganu FC at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium. Public transportation options such as bus and the light rail transit (LRT) services are recommended for commuters due to potential delays and increased traffic volume on that day. Passenger pick-up and drop-off services are provided at various locations.
Commuters are advised to plan their travel accordingly and to utilise public transportation options such as bus and the light rail transit (LRT) services or to car pool, considering potential delays and increased traffic volume in the vicinity of the stadium on that day. He also recommended enhancing the frequency of public transport, including LRT and intermediate buses, on Dec 8. – Bernama
