Twenty-two roads leading to the venue of the National Day 2023 celebration in Putrajaya will be closed temporarily to ensure the smooth running of the event on August 31st.
Assistant Director of Management (Administration and Budget) ACP Rizal Abd Rahman Sidek from the Royal Malaysia Police Management Department stated that the road closure will occur from 5am to 11am.
“The affected routes include Persiaran Perdana from Dataran Putra, Lebuh Wawasan, Lebuh Bestari, Lebuh Saujana leading to Persiaran Perdana, Jalan Pembangunan from Jalan Tun Abdul Razak, and Jalan Pemodernan,” he said in an interview with RTM’s Selangor FM on Wednesday (Aug 23).
Rizal informed that the public can refer to the Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department’s official Facebook page for a complete list of the closed roads.
He added that two intermediate buses have been provided at the Putrajaya Sentral Terminal and the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) to facilitate public transportation. – Bernama
