In Eco Spring, Tebrau, a tragic incident occurred resulting in the death of a three-year-old boy. The boy was playing with a scooter when he was tragically run over by a truck. The incident took place on Friday, August 4, at 6.30pm. A police report was lodged, as confirmed by Johor Baru South OCPD Asst Comm Raub Selamat.
On Monday, August 7, Asst Comm Raub Selamat stated that out of respect for the grieving family, there will be no official press release regarding the incident. No further details were provided.
The truck driver involved in the accident is reported to be a 32-year-old man.
A video clip, lasting 22 seconds, depicting the incident was shared on Facebook. The clip also includes several photos of the aftermath.
