In Malaysia, a total of 9.82 million out of 30.08 million citizens have successfully updated their data in the Central Database Hub (Padu) system as of yesterday. This information was provided by the Padu official Facebook page, highlighting the progress made by different states in the country.
Selangor leads the pack with 1.56 million individuals having completed their data updates, followed by Johor with 1.10 million, Perak with 0.98 million, Sarawak with 0.90 million, Sabah with 0.83 million, and Kedah with 0.76 million updated profiles. Other states like Kelantan, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Pahang, Terengganu, Negri Sembilan, Melaka, Perlis, the Federal Territory of Putrajaya, and Labuan also show significant numbers of citizens with updated data.
However, there is still a portion of the population that has not registered or updated their information in the Padu system. They are advised to do so before the system closes tomorrow, on March 31st. Citizens can update their details either online or by visiting a nearby Padu counter for assistance. This initiative aims to ensure that the database is accurate and up to date for various governmental processes. – Bernama
