KUALA LUMPUR: The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah expressed his appreciation for the support of the Malay Rulers on Thursday (Oct 26) for helping the country overcome various challenges since 2019.
Al-Sultan Abdullah, who will complete his term as the nation’s 16th Agong on January 30 next year, mentioned that despite the numerous challenges, the Conference of Rulers always assisted in finding the best solutions for the well-being of the people.

“Whether it’s political turmoil or the Covid-19 pandemic, throughout my reign, I have always upheld my oath to govern Malaysia fairly and in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Constitution.
“I am also grateful to the Malay Rulers for their willingness to come to Istana Negara to discuss and find solutions together for the benefit of the country and its people,” said His Majesty during the second day of the 262nd edition of the Conference of Rulers’ meeting at Istana Negara on Thursday.
The Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, chaired the two-day meeting that started on Wednesday (Oct 25). – Bernama
