Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad has confirmed that all 18 victims of the ammonia gas leak incident at a factory in Shah Alam are now in stable condition. Some are still receiving treatment, however.
Of the 18 victims, 10 were treated at Shah Alam Hospital, five at Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang, and the remaining three at Sungai Buloh Hospital.

Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad stated, “All the victims are stable. Fourteen only experienced mild symptoms and received outpatient treatment.” This was announced after he had launched World Cancer Day 2024 at Cyberjaya University on Saturday (Feb 17).
Regarding the four victims admitted for further treatment and monitoring, Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad mentioned that two of them were pregnant mothers who were admitted in Shah Alam Hospital, while the other two were in Sungai Buloh Hospital.

The incident occurred on Friday (Feb 16) when 10 workers were rushed to the hospital for treatment after an ammonia gas leak at a factory in Perindustrian Bukit Raja, Section 7, Shah Alam.
