AMPANG: A 32-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly damaging his neighbor’s car following a dispute over noise. The incident took place on July 29 at Jalan Pandan Indah when the 51-year-old victim discovered the rear windscreen of his parked car was damaged. Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Azam Ismail stated that the suspect, who works as a security guard, was apprehended at Jalan Pandan Indah on August 1 in connection with the incident. As per investigations, the suspect had ongoing issues with the victim, who lives in the condominium above, due to constant noise disturbances. The suspect, who does not have a criminal record and tested negative for drugs, has been remanded until August 4. The case is being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code for causing mischief.
