Another incident of violence has occurred at a KK Super Mart outlet in Kuantan, as a petrol bomb was thrown at the store. Kuantan police chief Asst Comm Wan Mohd Zahari Wan Busu reported that an unknown individual threw a Molotov cocktail at the entrance of the store in Sungai Isap at approximately 5:14 am on Saturday, March 30.
The attack occurred while a cashier was breaking fast inside the store and witnessed the Molotov cocktail being thrown, causing a small fire to ignite on the front entrance carpet. Despite the panic, the cashier was able to quickly extinguish the fire using a fire extinguisher.
Authorities were informed of the incident
The store employee promptly contacted their employer, who then alerted both the police and the Fire and Rescue Department to the situation. ACP Wan Mohd Zahari confirmed these details when reached for comment.
