Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail were guests at a dinner hosted by Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, Yuko, on Saturday (Dec 16) at the Geihinkan state guesthouse in Tokyo’s Akasaka Palace, as the Prime Minister mentioned in a post on Facebook.
Anwar, also said in the post that he was joined by Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan and Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz at the event. He further expressed that the dinner was a great opportunity to meet and build connections with other leaders who had attended the Asean-Japan Commemorative Summit.
Expressing his hopes for the future, he added, “I pray the relationship between Asean and Japan continues to strengthen in the future.”
