KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has provided financial assistance to Abdul Rahman Amir Ruddin, an individual who tragically lost his parents and four siblings in a five-vehicle collision at KM5, Jalan Segamat-Kuantan, on Friday (Sept 1).
The donation from Anwar was delivered to Abdul Rahman, who is 19 years old, by his political secretary Ahmad Farhan Fauzi. The purpose of this contribution is to alleviate the burdens faced by the young man.
In a Facebook post, Anwar expressed his request for friends and others to extend their support to Abdul Rahman in this difficult time. He also urged them to keep him in their prayers and to provide strength for him to face this trial. Anwar concluded his statement by praying for the forgiveness of Abdul Rahman’s parents and siblings and for them to be placed among the righteous.
Last September 1, Abdul Rahman’s parents, namely Amir Ruddin Ismail (46) and Norahimah Noor Muhammad (43), along with his younger siblings Fatimatulzahrah (17), Seri Khadijah Aqilah (13), Rufaidatul Asyariyah (10), and Muhammad Assyakrawi (5), tragically lost their lives in a collision involving the Perodua Alza they were traveling in and a sand-laden lorry.
