KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim arrived at Menara Dato’ Onn on Tuesday (July 11) for the highly anticipated Unity Government Leadership Consultative Council Meeting. This important gathering was attended by other key figures such as Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, and Sarawak Deputy Premier Datuk Seri Sim Kui Hian. The presence of Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor and Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan further emphasized the significance of the event. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss matters vital to the upcoming state polls in Selangor, Negri Sembilan, Penang, Kedah, Kelantan, and Terengganu. Scheduled to take place simultaneously on August 12, with early polling on August 8, these elections hold great importance for the future of the aforementioned states. Nomination for the candidates will take place on July 29.
