PETALING JAYA: National leaders have arrived at the Gombak nomination centre ahead of its opening on Saturday (July 29) in support of candidates from their respective coalitions.
Perikatan Nasional chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and information chief Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, along with hundreds of supporters, arrived at the nomination centre here at 8:40am.
Shortly after, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor also arrived at the same nomination centre at around 8:50am.
The battle-lines are being drawn as six states – Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu, Selangor, Negri Sembilan, and Penang – prepare for the upcoming polls on Aug 12 (Saturday).
Aspiring candidates are required to submit their applications between 9am and 10am.
