KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s firm position on Palestine, especially in front of Western leaders, is critical and necessary, says renowned British-American journalist Mehdi Hasan.
Mehdi is expected to interview Anwar on Sunday (Sept 29).
Human Resources Minister Steven Sim and top-ranking officials from other ministries also attended the event.
Mehdi is the author of the New York Times bestseller “Win Every Argument” and currently leads his own news organisation Zeteo.
The former host of “The Mehdi Hasan Show” has interviewed many prominent figures, including intellectuals like Noam Chomsky, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders as well as celebrities like John Legend, Mark Ruffalo and Jon Stewart.
Mehdi is in Malaysia as a speaker at the National Human Capital Conference and Exhibition (NHCCE) 2024. He will discuss the role of AI in the workplace and its implications for the future of work and the workforce.
The NHCCE 2024 is scheduled for Sept 30 to Oct 2 at Mitec.
