SHAH ALAM: Any elements of foul play in the death of singer Muhammad Nidza Afham can only be determined after the post-mortem has been completed, says Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain.
When met at the passing-out parade ceremony at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam, the IGP said that it is still too early to tell if there was any foul play.
“Any information will come after the post mortem. It should be completed by this afternoon,” he said.
This comes after Muhammad Nidza’s body was found below the Kota Bridge on Wednesday (Aug 14).
He was last seen leaving a house in Jalan Kerongsang 4 in Bandar Puteri on Aug 13 and told his family that he was going out for a jog.
His girlfriend traced his location to the bridge, where a family member found his wallet and other belongings.
Muhammad Nidza is known for his single Ternyata Bukan Aku, and he was in I Can See Your Voice Season 3.
He gained fame for his song covers on social media, particularly on his YouTube channel, where his cover of Rindu Setengah Mati has nearly seven million views.
Living in Shah Alam, Nidza previously studied Sports Management at UniKL while maintaining an active part-time presence on social media in the singing industry.
