In a recent development, the government of Argentina has expressed its support for Malaysian investments within its borders, ensuring the protection of both current and future investment efforts, according to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
On Monday (March 18), the Prime Minister shared in a Facebook post that this commitment was discussed during a meeting with Argentine Foreign Minister Diana Mondina at his office in Putrajaya.
Anwar highlighted various topics that were covered during the meeting, including trade and investment, renewable energy, digital economy, agriculture, and the halal industry. Additionally, the extension of visa periods was also addressed.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister took the opportunity to engage in dialogue about the Palestine-Israel conflict. Anwar urged Argentina to support efforts towards achieving a ceasefire and providing humanitarian aid in Gaza.
