    Bad-level warning of continuous heavy rain in Pahang, Johor until Jan 14

    On Friday (Jan 12), the Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) issued a bad-level warning for continuous heavy rain in several localities in Pahang and Johor, expected to occur from today until Sunday (Jan 14).

    In a statement issued on Friday morning, MetMalaysia specified the Rompin district in Pahang and Segamat, Kluang, Mersing, and Kota Tinggi in Johor as the two localities affected by the heavy rain warning.

    The statement also highlighted the prediction of continuous rainfall for the same period in the Pekan district in Pahang, along with the Tangkak, Muar, Batu Pahat, Pontian, Kulai, and Johor Bahru districts in Johor.

    Furthermore, a warning of continuous rain was also issued today in Sarawak, covering several localities such as Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, and Mukah. – Bernama
