Police reported the arrest of an intoxicated Bangladeshi man who assaulted a friend with a wooden pole in Subang Jaya.
According to Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Wan Azlan Wan Mamat, the victim, a 34-year-old Bangladeshi, was attacked in the early hours of Wednesday (Nov 8) after a disagreement with the suspect at a workers’ dormitory in Jalan TP7/7.
“The attack is believed to have been sparked by the suspect being scolded for making loud noises when drunk,” ACP Wan Azlan said in a statement on Thursday (Nov 9).
The victim was struck at the back of the head with a piece of wood, he added.
At around 10.45am that day, the police arrested the 37-year-old suspect and seized the weapon used in the attack, he added.
