KUALA LUMPUR: Police in the Cheras district have found the body of a 28-year-old accountant on Jalan Kuari, Kampung Cheras Baru, and suspect that he was murdered. The man’s naked body was discovered by passers-by at approximately 6am on Monday, December 11.
According to Cheras district police chief ACP Zam Halim Jamaluddin, preliminary investigations revealed injuries on the body, and an autopsy will take place at the Canselor Tuanku Muhriz Hospital’s forensics department on Tuesday, December 12. “There were no identification papers, but the family later confirmed his identity,” he said in a statement, noting that the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
