    Body of missing six-year-old boy found in river near his home

    Six-year-old Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matiin, who suffered from autism, was discovered dead in a river close to his home at Idaman Apartment in Damansara Damai, Petaling Jaya. The body was found around 10pm on Wednesday, December 6th by local authorities, who had been conducting a search and rescue operation since Tuesday, December 5th. The child was last seen at the Idaman Apartment on Tuesday and was reported missing later that day.

    According to Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid, the police were notified about the missing boy at around 6.36pm on Tuesday. ACP Mohamad Fakhrudin also stated that the child was last seen near Block R of the apartment complex along PJU 10/1, Damansara Damai, wearing a white collar T-shirt with the SK Damansara Damai 2 emblem and a black tracksuit and shoes.

    The discovery of Zayn Rayyan’s body has shocked and devastated the community, prompting an outpouring of grief and sympathy for the child and his family.
