In an incident in Petaling Jaya, firefighters had to dismantle a toilet to rescue a young boy whose foot was stuck in it. Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar stated that they received the notification about the trapped child at approximately 12.23pm on Tuesday (Oct 31). A team of firefighters was immediately deployed to the location in Sungai Sekamat.

Upon reaching the scene, the squad leader informed that a nine-year-old boy had his leg trapped inside the hole of a squat toilet. The rescue operation effectively concluded at 12.50pm when the leg was successfully freed. Photographs taken during the operation depicted firefighters using a hammer to forcefully open the toilet and liberate the young boy.
