    Bomba rescue three subcontractors stranded on skylift in Ipoh

    IPOH: A total of three men were stranded in a damaged skylift while installing a sign at Wisma Taiko, opposite Ipoh Padang, on Saturday night (Oct 6).

    According to the Perak Fire and Rescue Department’s Operations Division assistant director, Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad, the three male victims, aged 24, 26 and 32, were stranded at an estimated height of two storeys.

    The incident happened around 8.49pm, and nine members from the Ipoh Fire and Rescue Station were dispatched to the location reported Astro Awani.

    “Firefighters arrived at 8.57pm and found that there were three workers, a local man and two Myanmarese men, on the skylift,” Sabarodzi said in a statement on Saturday night.

    He also said that all the victims did not suffer any injuries.

    The operation led by Senior Fire Officer II Mohd Fakhrurazi Johari ended at 9.48pm.
