Bomba responds to Sabak Bernam religious department fire

The religious department office in Sabak Bernam experienced a fire incident, leading to the prompt response of the Fire and Rescue Department personnel. Selangor Bomba assistant director (operations), Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, stated that they received a distress call about the incident at 7.59pm on Friday (Sept 8). In response, two fire engines, a water tanker, and an emergency medical rescue services unit, along with personnel from the Sabak Bernam and Sungai Besar fire stations, were dispatched to the scene. The incident occurred at the Islamic Education Unit office along Jalan Parit 1 Timur, Sungai Panjang.

Approximately 20% of the reception room was destroyed in the fire. By 8.12pm, the fire was brought under control, and fortunately, no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
