AS visitors enter Rumah Tangsi in Kuala Lumpur, they will be transported to a nostalgic setting reminiscent of a lively “kampung”.

This event, called Kampung Buatan Malaysia, is organized by ZUS Coffee, a local coffee chain known for its innovative approach.

The air will be filled with the rich aroma of coffee and the sound of community conversations. The event is more than just an event, it is an experience that symbolizes unity and pride in Malaysian-made products.

Kampung Buatan Malaysia is part of ZUS Coffee’s larger “Buatan Malaysia” campaign, which aims to challenge misconceptions and champion the quality of Malaysian-made products.

Through this campaign, ZUS Coffee hopes to contribute to a shared vision of a future where Malaysia is recognized for its promise and potential.

Upon arrival at Rumah Tangsi, visitors will first be greeted by delightful aromas from Lorong Makan ZUS located just outside.

Food enthusiasts can indulge in a variety of mouth-watering specialties, including both local and international flavors, brought to life by local brands.

Inside, visitors will find Pasar ZUS, which spans across the ground and first floors. This marketplace provides a platform for local brands to proudly showcase their unique products.

At Kampung Buatan Malaysia, every corner and every stall tells a story of Malaysians who dared to dream and build.

The Time Tunnel not only showcases the growth of ZUS Coffee but also highlights their valued partners: BOH, Inside Scoop, Julie’s, and Farm Fresh. These partners, who started from humble beginnings, have collaborated with ZUS Coffee to create beloved Malaysian products.

The Time Tunnel represents the dedication of Malaysians to their homegrown brands and the power of collaboration in creating successful Malaysian products.

The aroma of ZUS Coffee’s latest innovation, the “Tarik Series,” fills the air. This series pays tribute to the beloved Malaysian Teh Tarik, showcasing the nation’s creativity and evolution. It combines the familiar taste loved by Malaysians with the smoothness of ZUS Coffee’s signature Velvet Creme, creating a delightful fusion that reflects Malaysia’s rich heritage and continuous reshaping of its future.

In addition to interactive experiences, the event will feature performances by renowned local artists such as Syamel, Kaka Azraff, and Andi Bernadee.

The event will also showcase Malaysia’s cultural heritage through a mesmerizing Tarian Muhibbah performance.

To bring the concept and theme of the “Buatan Malaysia” campaign to life, ZUS Coffee has created a compelling campaign video titled “ZUS Coffee On Trial: Buatan Malaysia?”. The video features familiar faces such as comedians Kavin Jay and Ryan Howlett, entrepreneur Arieff Yong, and beloved local brands like Farm Fresh, Inside Scoop, BOH, and Julie’s, showcasing the pride in being Malaysian-made.

Collaborative chapters of the “Buatan Malaysia” campaign include partnerships with BOH for the Tarik Series and Inside Scoop for a limited-edition ice cream inspired by ZUS Coffee’s beverages. These partnerships demonstrate the remarkable achievements that can be accomplished when Malaysian brands unite and work towards a common goal.

This Saturday (Sept 9), we invite you to join us at Kampung Buatan Malaysia. Be a part of our story as we celebrate Malaysian heritage, innovation, and the collective power of local brands. Let’s appreciate, enjoy, and uplift the narrative of Malaysian-made products together.
