The Johor government is hopeful that the plans and initiatives outlined in Budget 2024 will be smoothly implemented for the state. Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi expressed gratitude for the initiatives announced in the budget. He stated, “I am pleased with Budget 2024, presented by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, as it addresses the development projects that Johor requires.”
Specifically, the allocation for Johor encompasses provisions for essential needs of the people, such as road infrastructure, healthcare, education, basic facilities, and economic enhancement. Datuk Onn Hafiz hopes that all these plans and efforts will progress smoothly and ultimately benefit the people of Johor. He conveyed this message in a Facebook statement released on Saturday (Oct 14).
Among the initiatives for Johor in Budget 2024 are the construction of Hospital Sultan Aminah 2 and the expansion of the North-South Expressway (PLUS) from four to six lanes between Sedenak and Simpang Renggam. Additionally, Datuk Onn Hafiz highlighted that Johor’s budget for 2024, expected to be presented next month, will also prioritize the needs of the people.
