KLANG: A fatal accident occurred in Klang on Sunday (Oct 15) when an express bus crashed into a tree, resulting in the death of the driver and injuries to several passengers. The incident took place near Columbia Asia Hospital, as confirmed by Assistant Director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar from the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department. Among the six individuals on board were the driver and co-driver.
According to reports, it is believed that the 49-year-old driver was thrown out of the vehicle during the collision. The impact left two passengers with minor injuries, while another suffered a broken right foot. Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar stated, “Two of the injured victims were taken to the hospital, two were transported to the Klang Sentral bus terminal, and one was escorted home by an acquaintance.”
