Three early voting ballot boxes and four postal vote ballot boxes for the Pulai parliamentary by-election have arrived at the Dewan Jubli Intan Sultan Ibrahim in Johor Baru. The early voting ballot boxes reached the tally centre around 6.15pm, followed by the arrival of the postal vote ballot boxes 30 minutes later. The boxes were handed over to Miswan Yunus, the Pulai parliamentary returning officer.
In the meantime, the Election Commission has reported that as of 6pm, the voter turnout for the Pulai parliamentary by-election is 46.8%, while for the Simpang Jeram state seat, it is 60.2%.
The Pulai parliamentary constituency has a total of 166,653 eligible voters, while the Simpang Jeram state seat has 40,488 voters.
