    Cabinet members extend heartfelt Thaipusam greetings

    Members of the Cabinet used their social media accounts to send their well wishes to the Hindu community celebrating Thaipusam, highlighting the country’s unity and diversity.

    The Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, took to Facebook to express the beauty of Malaysia, filled with diverse races, religions, customs, and traditions, yet remains harmonious.

    He shared his hope for this year’s Thaipusam to continue fostering unity among the diverse people in the country, instilling inclusiveness and togetherness.

    Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof also extended his Thaipusam greetings on Facebook, describing the festival as a manifestation of the country’s diversity and cultural richness.

    He expressed hope for the spirit of unity within racial diversity to continue being the pillar of harmony and well-being in the country.

    Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu also shared his Thaipusam greeting on Facebook, wishing all his Hindu friends a joyous celebration.

    Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli called on Malaysians to spend time with their families during the public holiday, wishing for a lively celebration with loved ones.

    Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi and Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz also extended their Thaipusam wishes to all Hindus.

    Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail conveyed Thaipusam greetings through a video on Facebook, emphasizing the importance of unity in racial diversity.

    Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability Minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad stated on Facebook that he hopes the spirit of unity in racial diversity continues to maintain harmony and well-being in the country.
