PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has begun announcing his new Cabinet line-up in Putrajaya.
According to Anwar, the new line-up would feature a larger Cabinet, while still being smaller than previous administrations.
The latest Cabinet line-up, as announced by the Prime Minister, is as follows:
– Prime Minister and Finance Minister: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim
– Finance Minister II: Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah, a technocrat and Employees Provident Fund (EPF) CEO
– Deputy Finance Minister: Lim Hui Ying (formerly deputy Education minister)
Anwar also declared that there will no longer be a Minister for Sabah and Sarawak Affairs, and Deputy Prime Minister Fadillah Yusof will be responsible for this portfolio.
