A tragic accident occurred on Monday (Jan 22) along Jalan Banting in Dengkil, resulting in the death of a ten-year-old child and a woman in her 40s.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar confirmed that both individuals passed away at the scene. He also mentioned that a woman in her 20s sustained leg injuries and has been taken to the hospital for treatment.
According to Ahmad Mukhlis, the collision involved a lorry and four other vehicles, one of which was completely crushed by the impact.
Tragically, all of the victims were from the same family and were travelling in the car at the time of the accident.
Fire and Rescue Department officials were quick to respond to the scene, attempting to assist the injured and manage the aftermath of the collision.
The cause of the accident has not been disclosed, but authorities are likely conducting an investigation to determine what led to the tragic collision that claimed the lives of two individuals and caused injury to others.
