    Civil servant, family terrified after gunman fires shots at their house in Kota Baru

    In a terrifying incident that took place last night (July 7), a civil servant and his family in Kampung Guntong, Kok Lanas, Kota Baru, experienced multiple gunshots fired at their house by an unknown assailant.

    Reports have confirmed that the Kota Baru district police received a distressing call about the incident at 11.59pm. According to ACP Mohd Rosdi Daud, the house belongs to a civil servant who resides there with his family. Upon investigation, authorities discovered several gunshot marks on the house and vehicles owned by the occupants.

    Currently, the police are conducting an intense search for the suspect responsible for the attack. ACP Mohd Rosdi has urged members of the public with any knowledge about the suspect to immediately contact ASP Mohd Ridhuan Ismail at 019-245 4224 or 09-775 2200, or visit the nearest police station.

    This distressing incident is being investigated under Section 307 of the Penal Code and Section 39 of the Arms Act 1960, highlighting the severity of the crime.
