KLANG: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (pic) has attributed Malaysia’s positive economic growth and the strengthening of the ringgit not only to political stability but also to the government’s clear and transparent policies.
“These include policies such as the Madani Economy, the National Energy Transition Roadmap, the Digital Transformation Plan and the New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP), which have clear and transparent directions,” said Anwar during a groundbreaking ceremony at Westport 2 Malaysia in Klang on Friday (Sept 27).
Anwar also highlighted his recent attendance at an Amazon Web Services (AWS) appreciation dinner on Thursday (Sept 26), which he attended with Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo.
According to Anwar, the top management of AWS expressed confidence in Malaysia due to its stability and clear policies.
“Sometimes, a country may be stable, but if its policies are unclear, it will not attract investments,” he added.
More to come.
