The police are set to interview the parents of Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matiin to aid in the investigation of their autistic child’s death, according to Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid.
Furthermore, the police will gather statements from neighbors and witnesses in the near future as part of the ongoing investigation.
ACP Mohd Fakhrudin mentioned that the child’s death is currently being considered as sudden death, as communicated on Thursday (Dec 7).
An autopsy of the six-year-old was carried out at Sungai Buloh Hospital on Thursday morning.
Zayn Rayyan’s final resting place will reportedly be the Section 9 Muslim Cemetery in Kota Damansara later on Thursday.
Zayn Rayyan, who was missing since Tuesday afternoon, was discovered deceased in a stream in Damansara Damai on Wednesday night (Dec 6), as reported by Bernama.
