The police are currently searching for three individuals in relation to the investigation into the Save Malaysia rally, according to Kuala Lumpur police chief, Comm Datuk Allaudeen Abdul Majid. He stated that if these individuals do not voluntarily come forward to have their statements recorded, their identities will be revealed to the public. Comm Allaudeen emphasized the importance of their cooperation and stated that the police are actively trying to locate them. This statement was made after the KL police monthly assembly on Wednesday (Sept 20).
Comm Allaudeen further mentioned that the police have already identified 28 individuals who could provide assistance in the investigation of the rally held on Saturday, in accordance with the Peaceful Assembly Act 2012. He revealed that statements from 16 individuals have already been obtained, and the police aim to conclude the investigation within the current week. Once the investigation is finished, the case will be referred to the Deputy Public Prosecutor for further action, Comm Allaudeen added.
